Collegiate Level

  • Bach Suite Movement: Select one movement from any of the Bach Cello Suites (BWV 1007-1012).  

  • Concerto Movement Options. One work from this list. You may also choose a work of comparable difficulty. Make sure that the piece you choose is not listed in a lower category repertoire.

  • Edward Elgar - Cello Concerto in E Minor, Op. 85 (1st, 2nd or 4th movement) 

  • Antonín Dvořák - Cello Concerto in B Minor, Op. 104 (1st movement) 

  • Joseph Haydn - Cello Concerto No. 2 in D Major, Hob VIIb/2, Op. 101 (1st or 3rd movement) 

  • Sergei Prokofiev - Sinfonia Concertante in E Minor, Op. 125 (1st or 2nd movements) 

  • Dmitri Shostakovich - Cello Concerto No. 1 in E-flat Major, Op. 107 (1st movement or 4th movement) 

  • Robert Schumann – Cello Concerto in A Minor Op. 129 (1st or 3rd movement) 

High School Repertoire
